Based in London, hailing from Montenegro, Hackney, Sydney and beyond, Soul Grenades have established themselves as one of the most exciting acts on the live scene and festival circuit.
A veritable tornado of funk, the band boasts a super-tight rhythm section, a wall of brass, and an extensive songbook of original music. Fusing their many influences, encompassing crate-digging rarities to contemporary dance floor fillers, Soul Grenades deliver no-nonsense, hard-hitting funk and soul music.
Soul Grenades’ third album, “Raw Pleasure” was released in summer 2025. Singles from the album have received airplay on BBC Radio 6 Music on The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show.
“Delicious Detonation”, Soul Grenades’ 2020 sophomore album, received extensive airplay and critical acclaim worldwide. Their 2017 debut LP, “Pullin’ The Pin” was equally well received. The band’s debut 45 on Mukatsuku Records received rave reviews and extensive radio airplay.
The band have performed at some of the UK’s most prestigious venues, including The Jazz Cafe, The 100 Club, Manchester Albert Hall, Blues Kitchen, Pizza Express Jazz Club, Matt & Phred’s, South London Soul Train, and many more. Soul Grenades have performed at major festivals including Green Man, Manchester Jazz Festival, Elderflower Fields, Kendal Calling, and The Great Estate.
